Our Procedures
Loading & Unloading
No need to rent a forklift or other equipment to unload your drill pipe tubes at our facilities. Triton takes care of your trucking needs with 3rd party dispatch services. After you load it, we take it from there.
Don’t worry about renting a forklift or any other necessary equipment for loading and unloading your pipe in our facilities. We’ve got it here in-house!
Rattling
During our rattling process, we make sure we thoroughly clean pipe to remove rust, scale, or any other obstructions. Our inline drifting mechanisms ensure that ID specifications are precise to API standards.
With our service, you will receive a rust-free pipe. Triton values delivering clean, ready to use pipe for your tubular needs. Through our operations management procedures, we make sure our pipe is rattled again before it leaves our facilities to your job site.
VTI Inspection
During the Visual Inspection (VTI) process, our Level II NDT inspectors follow industry standards to certify thread quality.
EMI Inspection
Our Electromagnetic Inspection is used to track, grade, and offer deliverables to you. Our automated inspection report system sends you an easy-to-read service report for your Inventory Management Measures.

Hardbanding
Our hardbanding procedure is one of the most important steps in our process. Our automated hardbanding machines accurately analyze and measure the weld needed to produce a hardband on your pipe.
Through independent research, hardbanding contributes to a 75% increase in the longevity of your pipe. Hardbanding your pipe prevents over-wearing of pipe walls during the drilling process, in return this allows you to use your pipe for a longer period of time; extending the life of your assets.
Tubing Inventory
Never worry about storage costs. Our tubing inventory process allows you to store and track inventory on any pipe you need; any time, free of charge.
